Activity for Students!
Give each student a picture of the human body (like the image to the left). Have them choose two drugs or alcohol listed on the board. They will have to look up the harmful effects on the human body when using a specific drug or alcohol. Then they will color the part of the body it affects.

1) Read the book Message in a Bottle by Jeff Wolfsberg which can help parents prepare themselves for questions their children may ask about drugs and alcohol 2) Openly discuss drugs and alcohol with children at the necessary age you think is appropriate. Remember later is better than never! |
