Activity for Students!
Set desks up in a circle for open discussion. Have a friend come in that is gay, lesbian, or bisexual to talk to the class about their story and what hardships they faced. The person will hopefully show the children how they are just an average person. They will stand in the middle of the circle to talk and answer questions. After have a discussion with the students about the different stereotypes, thoughts they have, questions, and personal stories/experiences to share about sexual orientation.
