What does it mean?
1) English Language Learner (ELL)= Students whose first language is not English and who are in the process of learning English.
2) ESOL= English for speakers of other languages. This is the use or study of English by speakers of other languages.

Activity for Students!
Have English students pick out their favorite word to create a project that they will present to ELL/ESOL students. Have them collect images, descriptions describing the word, etc. Have the children be as creative as possible. Then they will present the project to the ELL/ESOL students to start/increase their vocabulary.
